Correct! Any one can have a backyard habitat! Even an apartment balcony can accomodate the four components of food, water, cover and space by including a feeder, a bird bath a bird house and the area around it becomes the space. Even if you feel you can't provide ALL the components, you can at least provide one or two or you could work with your neighbors who have a pond by providing the food in your yard or you could get really industrious and start a community project in open spaces. Every one of us has the ability to improve wildlife habitat and also the responsibility. |
